The Charleston Challenge Duathlon is put on by the Charleston Parks & Recreation Department the fourth Saturday in September.
When the idea for a local duathlon was presented to us, no one in our department had ever heard of such a thing. Now, several years later, it’s hard to remember what life was like without a duathlon to organize and run.

In four years, we have grown over 300%!
We offer a challenging 2 mile run -
19.2 mile bike - 2 mile run for anyone 14 years and over.
For anyone 13 and under, we do offer a Children’s Race at 7:45 a.m.
