The Charleston Challenge 4 x 40 Relay is a 40 mile course covering the south central section of Coles County. The race will start at Carl Sandburg School, 1924 Reynolds Dr, Charleston, and travel some city streets and then hit the country roads west and south of Charleston. Some of the small towns you will travel though include Lerna, Janesville and Campbell, IL.
Our course will also take you past some historical sites such as Lincoln Log Cabin and the burial place of Lincoln’s father and step-mother, Thomas and Sarah Bush Lincoln.
You don’t want to miss this scenic and fun filled day of running with your friends!
